Hardwood Fire Logs

Our dried, seasoned hardwood logs are dry, clean and ready to burn and with an average moisture content of 20%. All our logs, once split, are processed are stored in a large capacity barn out of the elements where air can naturally circulate around the logs, this brings the logs down to the optimum moisture percentage. They are suitable for all types of wood burning stoves, traditional open fires and chimeneas. They burn slowly and efficiently at a high temperature. They produce much more heat than unseasoned wood with less residue than softwood logs. The logs are a cut to a uniform length of 20cm and split before they are delivered. Supplied in a bulk bag on a burnable pallet. One bulk bag is approximately 1m3 and consists of ash, oak, sycamore, alder, beech poplar and horse chestnut.
